Biography
Adam N. Thacher
Adam
Thacher has a ten-year track record of completing searches quickly
and successfully for both venture capital and private equity firms.
Adam's
focus is on consumer products and consumer-oriented technology
companies. Prior to establishing his own firm, Adam held senior-level
positions with two international retained search firms. He served
as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for an early-stage
technology company, where he created and implemented the firm's
first sales program, repositioned its primary business, and assisted
in raising capital. He began his career managing successful product
lines at Carnation Company and Intuit.
With
fifteen years of experience in line management as a marketing
leader for consumer products and technology companies, Adam understands
business objectives and recruiting needs from the client's perspective.
He also demonstrates the ability to present candidates with the
client's true value proposition and the realistic challenges of
the position.
Adam
holds an MBA in Marketing and Business Policy from the Kellogg
Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and a
BA in Psychology from the University of Santa Barbara. He received
his high school diploma from the Groton School and enjoys tennis,
golf and photography. He resides in Piedmont, California with
his wife and three children. Adam is a member of the San Francisco
Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Biography
Megan Burke
Megan Burke is an award winning sales professional
and sales trainer. Prior to joining Thacher Executive Search,
she was for 8 years one of the top performing business development
executives within Spherion's Human Capital Consulting Group. She
managed many of the company's largest accounts and has extensive
relationships with the HR community in Northern California. She
graduated from the University of Denver with a BA in English Literature
and Art History and has a Master's in Counseling Psychology from
the University of San Francisco.
